Comm Secy reviews Srinagar Master Plan

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 18: Commissioner Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Hirdesh Kumar today convened a meeting in Srinagar to review the Srinagar Master Plan.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and Commissioner, SMC, Dr. Farooq Ahmed Lone, Vice Chairman LAWDA, Tehseen Mustafa and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
During the meeting various aspects with regard to Srinagar Master Plan were discussed threadbare. The Commissioner Secretary was informed that work on new Master Plan is going on and necessary modifications are being done by the concerned.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner also took stock of snow clearance process and inspects snow clearance activities in Srinagar. He along with officials visited different parts of the city including Achan dumping site, Jamia Masjid, Dargah, Safa Kadal and inspected the status of developmental works, besides snow clearance, dewatering and sanitation measures. He instructed the officials to take necessary measures to ensure all basic facilities to the public so that they do not face any difficulty for want of basic amenities.
