DDC takes stock of essential services

RAMBAN, JANUARY 18: District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz today convened a meeting to review the pace of ongoing works of restoring essential services disrupted due to incessant rain and snowfall in different parts of the district.
DDC directed the line departments to gear up their men and machinery to restore the road connectivity, power and water supply in all affected areas of the district. He directed Assistant Director Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCSCA) to ensure availability and proper distribution of ration, kerosene oil and LPG.
DDC also reviewed the functioning of healthcare centres and directed the Health officers to ensure proper medicare facilities in case of any urgency. ARTO was directed to ensure availability of vehicle for standard passengers in case of requirement.
ADDC, Ravinder Nath Sadhu, ACR, Vevaik Puri, ARTO, Shami Sharma, AD FCSCA Abdul Rashid, Tehsildar Ramban Gurpreet Singh, Executive engineers PWD, PMGSY PHE, and officers of different departments were present in the meeting.
