DDC Bandipora takes stock of snow clearance, essential service availability

BANDIPORA, JANUARY 18: District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Sajjad Hussain, along with a team of officers today visited various areas of the district and took stock of snow clearance operations and other essential services availability.
The DDC was informed that all main roads in the district have been cleared of snow, while as snow clearance in upper reaches which experienced heavy snow fall, is in progress. He was informed that power and water supply and other essential services including healthcare facilities are being provided to people.
Regarding stock and supply position, the DDC was informed that sufficient stock of rice, sugar, k-oil and LPG is available at food stores of FCS&CA Department.
On the occasion, the DDC directed the officers to ensure that all the essential services to the people living in upper reaches of the district are provided to them, so that they don’t face any inconvenience.
