Health department conducts task force meeting regarding IPPI

KATHUA: Sub District Hospital Hiranagar under the guidance of BMO Hiranagar Dr Omkar Nath conducted a task force meeting regarding IPPI, 2017 to be conducted from 29th January, in 1st phase. SDM Hiranagar Sohan Lal Sharma chaired the task force meeting in which Tehsildars, BDOs, CDPOs, and ZEOs who are also the members of this task force attended the meeting or sent their representatives. Dr Guru Prasad Sharma and Parvesh Sharma were also present from the Hospital administration. CHO Hiranagar Om Prakash Sharma gave detailed information regarding the targeted number of children 0-5 years, number of booths, number of supervisors; transit camps, mobile heath teams and various observers to be deputed for IPPI, 2017.Dr Guru Sharma told that the main focus will be to cover all the slum area, migrant people areas and it should be made noticed that all the targeted children will be benefitted from this Program on 29th Jan. All Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, Supervisors, and other staff engaged under this program will be provided training all over the Hiranagar Medical Block starting from Janaury 16, 2017. SDM Hiranagar directed all the departments to extend their full cooperation and to aware the common people. He directed ZEOs to educate their school children regarding Pulse Polio Program during their morning prayer.
