Tariq, Muneer qualify FIVB level-I course

JAMMU: Mohd Tariq of Poonch and Muneer Aalam of Srinagar have successfully qualified the International Volleyball Coaching level-I course held at Dr. Sivanthi Adityan FIVB Regional Development Centre Channai, recently.
In all, 36 former volleyball players and coaches attended to the VIVB Coaching Course from the Asian countries. A good number of individuals from J&K have already qualified the same course. They are Sujjad Hussain (Inspector JKP), Naresh Kumar Sharma (JKP), Ahzar Aziz of Rajouri, Neeraj Sharma and Rameez Tariq of district Poonch.
Promoter of the game in district Poonch, Tariq serves with Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) while Muneer is Volleyball coach of University of Kashmir (JU).
Meanwhile, in a handout issued here today, Volleyball Association of J&K (VAJK) congratulated both these successful candidates from the state.
