Goenkans bag gold in XVIII Sub-Junior National Fencing Championship

Jammu, Oct 26: The Premier Institute G.D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust nurturing young talent and believes in honing the skills and talent of the students. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that finally the entire Goenkan community is reaping the benefits of such tenacity and diligence of the students.

So it’s a matter of great pride that at the recent XVIII Sub-Junior National Fencing Championship (Boys and Girls) held at Gwalior (MP), Goenkan Ananya Sharma of Class VI bagged the coveted Gold medal in the under 14 category. She was followed by Narmada Thakur of class VII who too won a Silver Medal in the same category.

The entire state (J & K) can flatter itself as it clinched a Gold Medal in the overall category by defeating all the other Indian States.
