Militant killed as infiltration attempt foiled in J&K’s Mendhar: Army

Srinagar, Nov 26: Army on Friday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing a militant along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"On night of 25 Nov 2021, Pak terrorist attempted an infiltration bid along LoC in Bhimber Gali sector (J&K),” Jammu based Defence PRO Devinder Anand said.
"Alert Indian Army troops successfully foiled the infiltration attempt and one Pak terrorist has been eliminated,” he added.
He further said that the body of the slain along with a weapon and ammunition has been recovered and operation is in progress.
