"KASHMER" In collaboration with Help Foundation launches 4th Ambulance Service free Critical care Ambulance across Srinagar,Baramulla, Anantnag and Kupwara

Kashmiri American Society for Medical Education and Research) in collaboration with *HELP foundation added another milestone when a *4th district was added to the Emergency Services map with the inauguration of EMS services in Kupwara district. Service was inaugurated by Mr.Jowhar Ali, Assistant Commissioner Revenue representing District Development Commissioner Kupwara , Mr.Imam U Din (He could not attend in person as a result of unavoidable assignment in Srinagar),DDC Kralpora Advocate Ms Masarat Farooq and BMO Kralpora Dr Mir Mohammad Shafi.Various dignitaries also were present to grace the occasion.

Kashmir launched the first ever fully equipped and adequately staffed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Kashmir in 2019.Service, which was first started in Srinagar, has been extended to other districts

The Start of Emergency Medical Services in Kupwara will bring emergency services to the door step of residents of the district.

This service is available 24/7 x 365.All the ambulances are well equipped to handle any medical or surgical emergency.Ambulances are equipped with 5 Channel patient care monitors,ECG machines,Lifesaving cardiac defibrillators, oxygen supply and other emergency ancillary equipment.

This service is run by well-trained team of professionals which includes emergency critical care certified triage physicians, emergency medical technicians (EMT) and pilots.This service provides pre- hospital care functioning as “emergency ICU” while patients are being transferred to the nearest and qualified medical centers for definitive medical care.
