Neelu Gera to head JKPCB 8 IFS, three KAS transferred

Jammu: Seven Indian Forest Service(IFS) officers and three JKAS officers have been transferred by the government on Monday.

In the interest of administration, the government ordered transfers and postings of Forest Officers including Neelu Gera Director, Environment, Ecology and Remote Sensing, J&K is transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Pollution Control Committee. She shall take over after the superannuation of Mr. Suresh Chugh, 3O.O9.2O21. She will hold additional charge of Director, Environment, Ecology and Remote Sensing, J&K, till further orders. Shally Ranjan posted as Chief Conservator of Forests (Settlement and Demarcation) is transferred and posted as Chief Conservator of Forests (Ecotourism) relieving S.K. Gupta Chief Wildlife warden of the additional charge. Samuel Changkija posted as Conservator of Forest, East Circle is transferred and posted as Chief Conservator of Forest (Settlement and Demarcation). B Mohandas posted as Conservator of Forest, West Circle is transferred and posted Conservator of Forest, East Circle, Vivek Verma presently on deputation as Additional CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra is repatriated and posted as Conservator of Forest, West Circle, Neelima Shah presently reporting for duties in the office of PCCF, J&K is posted as DFO, Nowshera Forest Division vice Suresh Manda. Mohan Chowdhary presently posted as DFO, Poonch is attached in the office of Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu.

Meanwhile, GAD has ordered transfer of Altaf Ahmad Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Kupwara, against an available vacancy. Fayaz Ahmad Banday Director, Land Management, Srinagar Development Authority, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama.

Ghulam Nabi Bhat Additional Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, against an available vacancy. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Lolab Bangus Drangyari, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Meanwhile, in partial modification of Government Order No. 929- JK{GAD) of 2021 dated 13.09.2021, Deepika Kumari Sharma Chief Operating Officer, Himayat, shall hold the charge of the post of Executive Director, Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society, Jammu, in addition to her own duties, till further orders.
