More than 79 crore 58 lakh COVID vaccine doses provided by centre to states, UTs so far

Jammu, September 20: The Union Government today said that more than 79 crore 58 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories so far. The Health Ministry said that more than five crore 43 lakh unutilized vaccine doses are still available with the States, UTs and private hospitals to be administered. The Ministry said, more than 15 lakh doses are in the pipeline.

As part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, Union Government has been supporting the States and Union Territories by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost.
