J&K Shiv Sena not to allow screening of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’
Jammu, Oct 21: Jammu and Kashmir Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery) has said they will not allow the screening of Directors Karan Johar's ‘Aai Dil Hai Mushkil’ in Jammu. In a message to the District Administration Jammu, the Shiv Sena activists here said they will not to allow screening of ‘Aai Dil Hai Mushkil’ in Jammu theatres due to Pakistani actor in the lead role.
"The party would not allow release of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in Jammu in view of escalated Indo-Pak tension," Shiv Sena State President Dimpy Kohli here said. He threatened to stall the release of the movie in light of the Uri attack in J&K in which 18 soldiers of the Indian Army attained martyrdom and thousands migrated from their homes following shelling by Pakistani Army on Indian villages in Jammu Province. India must break all ties with Pakistan whether cultural, sports or any other,’’ he added.
A memorandum will also be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner Jammu regarding no release of the film in Jammu cinemas.
