International short film ‘Hunch’ launched in Jammu

Jammu: International short film ‘Hunch’ was launched with the first Muhurat Clap by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu-Kathua, Atul Goel here at GO’s Mess, Gulshan Ground.
Mr Goel was flanked by SSP Jammu Chandan Kholi, Rakesh Dubey, Additional District Magistrate, Jammu, Shridhar Patil, SSP CID, Jammu, Vinay Sharma and SSP Anti Narcotics Task Force.
Mr Goel said that the film enthusiasts and professionals from Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory will be very hopeful after the launch of recently announced JK Film Policy by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha on August 5 at Srinagar.
Film and TV Actor Mohit Mattoo said “this is our first project after the launch of JK Film Policy and we are very thrilled to shoot this thriller Drama “Hunch” Targeting National and international Film Festivals across the Globe.”
“My character in the film is very intriguing and I am thankful to Director Shiv Kumar whose earlier film “Mahhabbhoj” got him recognition in around 25 national and international film festivals and wining 15 awards at various film festivals including Toronto’s TINFF and Kualalumpur International Film Festivals,” he said.
Creative Director for “Hunch”, Atul Vinod Duggal stated that it’s a very prestigious project for his after blockbuster Shikara.
“I am happy to collaborate on this project which includes Ace DOP Sanjay Kumar whose one of the senior most DOP working from last 25 years, my company AVD Motion Pictures is working in association with Film Recipe India as Producer’s to be presented by prestigious production house KKONTENT FACTORY Mumbai,” said the Director.
Hunch is proud to have 100 percent Jammu Based crew and will soon be seen showcasing at various national and international film festivals.
