BEETROOT LIP STAIN:
Put food colouring/beetroot powder in a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of glycerine and mix them well together. Pour it in a bottle and fill the rest with distilled water.

SKIN CREAM:
Combine the water, drops of essential oil, and vitamin E oil in a liquid measuring cup. Set aside while you heat the other ingredients. Combine the sweet almond oil, coconut oil and grated beeswax in a microwave for 20 seconds. Transfer the oils to your blender and allow cooling to room temperature. When the oils have cooled, turn on your blender at its highest speed. Slowly pour the water mixture into the centre of the whirling oils. Pour the cream into a jar for storage. Keep in a cool, dark location. Your skin is going to thank you for this.

ROSEWATER:
Sterilize a large jar. Shred the rose petals into the jar by hand, pushing them down. Use filtered water and fill up the jar to the top and heat the mixture. Put the lid on and leave it until it cools. Start pouring your rosewater using a coffee strainer.

DEODRANT:
Combine baking soda and corn starch. Slowly mix in coconut oil and tea tree oil with a fork or mixer. Place in old deodorant stick. Or just put it in a small glass or plastic jar and use your hand to apply.

EYELINER:
Thoroughly mix all ingredients. Store it in an airtight container. Be sure to store this in a dark and cool place. Use a clean brush to ensure you don't introduce any bacteria to the mixture.

FOUNDATION:
Gather your ingredients and a non-metallic bowl (bentonite clay should not come in contact with metal). The amount you use for each ingredient will depend on your skin complexion. Mix all your foundation powder ingredients in the bowl, starting with the arrowroot as your base. Add each ingredient. Whisk together. Test the colour by placing a small amount on your face (or arm) with your finger. It may take a little tweaking the first time to make the perfect shade for your complexion.

APPLE CIDAR TONER
For normal to dry skin, mix 1/3 parts of vinegar to 2/3 parts of filtered water. Add a few drops (5-10 drops per 2 oz. of toner mixture) of lavender or frankincense oil.

For oily and acne-prone skin, mix 1/2 parts of vinegar and 1/2 parts of filtered water. Add a few drops of lavender or frankincense oil.

Store in a glass bottle at room temperature. Use toner twice a day - first thing in the morning and right before bed.
