New Delhi, Apr 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted Bengalis in the country and across the world on Poyla Boishakh.
“The love of life and the fervor of celebration that one sees in the people of Bengal are truly heartening. My heartfelt wishes to Bengalis in India and across the world on Poyla Boishakh. May the New year bring prosperity, happiness and health to all,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
Poila Baisakh marks New Year for the Bengali community. Bengalis across the globe celebrate this day. It also signals the beginning of the financial year for the Bengali business class.
