Body recovered under mysterious circumstances in Kupwara woods
Srinagar, Apr 8: Body of an unidentified youth was recovered under mysterious circumstances from the woods in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir on Thursday, official sources said.
A group of women, who had gone to collect mushroom from Bade Rakh Jugtiyal forest in Kupwara, saw a body of a youth. However, women immediately informed male members and a police party was rushed there.
The body was taken away by police for identification, they said adding that the cause of his death was being ascertained.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case and initiated proceedings.
