Tourism Ministry’s high-level delegation to visit J&K to tap tourism potential of state

NEW DELHI: Union tourism ministry is sending a high level delegation to tap tourism potential of Jammu and Kashmir. The delegation of 100 members, incredible India team, Ambassador from various countries, tourism association of FICCI will interact with stakeholders in the state government.

As Tourism is the main source of employment in Kashmir, last month Prime Minister appealed to visit Tulip garden in Srinagar.

Jammu and Kashmir Tourism association welcomed Prime minister's announcement saying it was a brilliant step. Prime Minister has personally led the campaign to promote tourism in the valley. AIR correspondent reports, every day more than thirty thousand domestic tourists visiting Asia's largest Tulip garden in Srinagar.
