Committees constituted to gear up inoculation


DODA, APRIL 06: District Administration Doda has geared up inoculation and testing in view of fresh surge in Covid Cases.
Acting upon the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma today chaired the meeting of key officers of Sub Division level committees constituted to gear up the inoculation of persons above 45 years age across the district.
During the meeting, the ADC held threadbare discussion on sample collection, status of RTPCR testing, augmentation of bedding capacity in health institutions, readiness with regard to re-establishment of quarantine centres etc.
He directed the concerned to achieve the target of 100% inoculation and rope in the PRI members to motivate and aware the people about the benefits of vaccination to counter the rumour mongering against it.
Besides, the ADC directed the officers and health staff to chalk out a plan for keeping sufficient stocks of doses in the cold chain sites for hassle free vaccination of all the frontline workers.
With regard to testing, the ADC directed the concerned to expedite the RTPCR testing by engaging sufficient manpower to contain the spread and by identifying the positive patients.
Further the ADC directed all the Nodal Officers to be in readiness mode with their men and material to revive the quarantine Centres.
He asked the CMO Doda to augment the bedding capacity in the available space to deal with the symptomatic covid patients.
Moreover, the ADC directed the concerned to place in the past mechanism of surveillance so that the positive patients put up in home isolation shall be strictly monitored on a daily basis.
The meeting was attended by ADC Bhaderwah, ACD Doda, ACR Doda, SDM Assar, CMO Doda, SDM Thathri, Dy CMO Doda, Tehsildar Doda, Dy Registrar Cooperatives, Treasury officer Bhaderwah, District immunization Officer, besides other concerned officials.
