Director AH Jammu reviews performance of department in districts

JAMMU, APRIL 03: Director, Animal Husbandry Jammu, Vivek Sharma today reviewed performance of department in districts here at a meeting held at conference hall of Animal Husbandry Complex Talab Tillo.
The meeting among others was attended by all the Chief Animal Husbandry Officers’ of Jammu division, Deputy Director Planning and Technical officers of the directorate.
The Director reviewed physical and financial achievements under Capex and CSS budget and discussed several other issues in detail. The chair expressed confidence over the progress made so far and at the same time advised the officers to excel in fields wherever some gross deficiencies have been observed.
The Director also took a detailed review of the future implementation of various farmer welfare schemes, especially implementation of Jammu & Kashmir Poultry Policy 2020/ Integrated Dairy development Scheme & Cattle feed Processing and fodder development Scheme.
The Director issued on the spot directions for the review of all the cases at district level.
It was impressed upon all the officers to develop a close rapport with the beneficiaries by involving all the field staff and generate awareness at grassroots level so that the farmers’ get fully acquainted with the departmental programmes/ Schemes and basic aim of government’s vision of doubling of farmers’ income is accomplished.
The Chair also impressed upon the participants to submit DPR’s immediately on account of repair/renovation of departmental buildings and also in respect of other constructions as well.
It was also conveyed to the officers to undertake field tours regularly and ensure punctuality of staff is maintained at all levels.
