Sensex rallied over 400 pts

Mumbai, Feb 25: The BSE Sensex on Thursday surged by 468.69 pts at 51,250.43 following gains in Metal, Oil and Gas, Power and Technology stocks. The Nifty gained by 153 pts to 15,135.75.
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 51,386.12 and 51,057.74 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,170.85 and 15,065.35 respectively.
The Mid Cap rose by 1.09 and Small Cap by 1.14 pc.
In 30 scrips 24 advanced while 6 declined.
The gainers were Axis Bank by 4.17 pc to Rs 780, Indusind Bank by 3.96 pc to Rs 1112.55, ONGC by 3.03 pc to Rs 117.15, Dr Reddy by 2.45 pc to Rs 4550.50 and Sun Pharma by 2.33 pc to Rs 616.60.
The losers were Nestle India by 1.23 pc to Rs 16,150.05, Asian Paints by 1.03 pc to Rs 2344.30, Hind Unilever by 0.74 pc to Rs 2161.85 and L& T by 0.65 pc to Rs 1514.95.
