JAMMU: Under the ongoing vaccination programme, J&K has inoculated 2,28,195 corona warriors while 94 fresh coronavirus cases were reported in the UT on Tuesday mounting the total count of contagion to 1,26,019.
According to figures released by the central dispensation on Tuesday, 2,17,910 beneficiaries in Jammu and Kashmir have taken first dose of vaccine while 10,285 have been administered the second dose taking the total number of vaccinated individuals to 2,28,195 till 6:00 PM on Tuesday, the 39th day of nation-wide vaccination programme.
According to government, the cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered to healthcare and frontline workers across the nation has crossed 1.19 crore.
“A total of 1,19,07,392 vaccine doses have been given through 2,53,434 sessions”, the government data released on Tuesday revealed adding that these include 64,71,047 Health Care Workers (HCWs) who have taken the 1st dose and 13,21,635 HCWs who have taken the 2nd dose, along with 41,14,710 Front Line Workers (FLWs), who have been administered 1st dose. The countrywide vaccination drive was rolled out on 16th January 2021 while vaccination of the FLWs started on 2nd February, 2021.
