SHG delegation calls on Vijay Bakaya, demand restoration of scheme

Jammu, January 27: A delegation of Self Help Groups (SHG) today called on Apni Party General Secretary Shri Vijay Bakaya at Party Headquarters at Gandhi Nagar.
They reminded Shri Bakaya about the earlier meeting in which they had highlighted their plight after their Self Help Groups were disbanded.
They reminded him that about 4500 Engineering Graduates who were earning their livelihood through these self help groups as they had not got Govt jobs but now they are without work and they are in financial distress.
Bakaya informed them that this issue has already been highlighted by the Apni Party.
He drew the attention of the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to this problem again and urged him to restore these self help groups so that the huge manpower resource of professionally qualified engineers is gainfully employed and thousands of families are who were dependent on the income earned by these self help groups are provided the much needed livelihood of which they have been deprived.
Bakaya urged that this matter be resolved urgently as the future of 4500 youth was involved
