Teenage girl dies due to burn injuries in north Kashmir
Baramulla: A teenage girl died due to burn injuries she received at her home in the north Kashmir district of Kupwara, official sources said.
They said a girl identified as 16-year-old Masrat Bano suffered serious burn injuries when a fire broke out due to cooking gas leak at her house at Lolab on Monday evening.
However, she was immediately rushed to District Hospital Kupwara from where she was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar. She was declared brought dead by doctors.
Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings.
