DDC Election Phase-III: Zonal Magistrates, Micro Observers briefed about their role at Doda

DODA, DECEMBER 02: Micro Observers, Zonal and Sector Magistrates for District Development Council elections and by polls were briefed about their role today here at a meeting organized under the supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer, Dr Sagar D Doifode.
The Master Trainer briefed the Zonal, Sectoral Magistrates about their role and responsibilities in the election process. He asked them to follow instructions of Election Commission in letter and spirit.
The Master Trainer also instructed duty magistrates to work in close coordination and update the District Election Authority about the latest positions on law & order and remain vigilant during the election process. He also stressed upon timely update of issues, if any and submission of desired information well in time.
The zonal magistrates were also directed to keep check on violation of Model Code of Conduct, besides to ensure adherence to COVID19 SOPs and guidelines are followed during the election.
The Micro Observers were asked to keenly observe the entire election process at the respective polling stations allotted to them on the day of poll and to fill all the required information in the given format which shall be handed over to the concerned Election Observer for further reporting.
Among others present during were General Election Observer, Kewal Kumar; Dy District Panchayat Election Officer, Mohammad Idrees Lone; DIO, Mohammad Ashraf Wani, UT level Master Trainer, Fayaz Ahmed Mehta, besides other concerned officials.
