Sensex down over 100 points

Mumbai, Nov 26: The BSE Sensex on Thursday lost further by 126 pts at 43,701.87 in opening session, as selling was seen in Materials, Energy, FMCG and Finance stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too eased by 39.65 pts to 12,818.75.

The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 44,023.26 and 43,700.86 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 12,916.75 and 12,815.70 respectively.

The Mid Cap declined by 0.28 pc and Small Cup by 0.24 pc respectively.

In 30 scrips 9 advanced while 21 declined.

The losers were Indusind Bank by 1.86 pc to Rs 838.60, Asian Paints by 1.50 pc to Rs 2122, Maruti Suzuki by 1.24 pc to Rs 6967.25, ONGC by 0.99 pc to Rs 80 and Bajaj finance by 0.90 pc to Rs 4647.40.

The gainers were Titan by 1.48 pc to Rs 1324.70, HDFC by 0.75 pc to Rs 2206.75, Bajaj Auto 0.75 pc to Rs 3073.30, L& T by 0.46 pc to Rs 1120.80 and M& M by 0.41 pc to Rs 722.65.
