LG, Dir DIPR condole journo’s demise

Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has condoled the untimely demise of Greater Kashmir journalist Mudasir Ali.
In his message, the Lt Governor said, “Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate demise of young journalist Mudasir Ali. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends and colleagues”.
Meanwhile Director Information and Public Relations, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar condoles sudden demise of Senior Journalist Mudasir Ali, who passed away today morning due to a massive heart attack.
In this connection, a condolence meet was held in the office chambers of Director Information wherein deep sorrow and grief was expressed over the demise of Mudasir Ali.
Dr Sehrish in her address said that his death is a great loss to the society as he played a leading role in highlighting the local public issues through his journalistic work.
She also offered her deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
A senior Journalist Mudasir Ali, who was working at the Greater Kashmir, a regional daily news papers of the valley, has passed away due to cardiac arrest at his residence in Char-e-Sharief.
Mudasir died of cardiac arrest at his home in Chrar-e-Sharief this morning, his brother Jahangir Ali stated.
Mudasir was a prominent journalist of the valley and contributed to several leading national and international media organizations.
