DC Pulwama felicitates NEET toppers and young writers, asks to strive for excellence

PULWAMA, OCTOBER 27: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer today felicitated top five scorers in NEET including the UT topper Basit Bilal Khan who secured 99.98 percentile in NEET-2020 exam.
The five toppers from the district today called on the DC and interacted with him who enquired about their field of interests, strengths, difficulties and his approach to qualify the prestigious exam.
He congratulated the toppers for qualifying the exam and scoring good ranks from Jammu and Kashmir and hoped that they would inspire many other youth from the region to crack other prestigious exams in order to serve the society in the best possible way so that their energy would be utilized for the development of the nation.
The DC advised the students to stay focused in their resolve towards excellence and continue to be an inspiration for others. He added that the young toppers have brought laurels to the district besides their respective schools and areas.
Besides NEET toppers, the DC also interacted with young girl writers whose books and poems have got published recently. They conversed about the writing skills and future plans.
It is worthwhile to mention that a teenage Girl from Pampore wrote a bestselling book for children.
The J&K NEET topper Basit was also present who hails from Narwa village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district and has scored 695/720 in the NEET exam with all India rank of 188 with topmost rank in J&K and is all set to get a seat in MBBS.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by the young officers posted in the district besides Chief Education Officer Pulwama.
