Narcotic drug peddler arrested By Bandipora Police, contraband substance recovered

Bandipora 25 SEP: Bandipora police continuing its drive against the menace of drugs arrested a drug peddler in Shadipora Sumbal.

Acting on a reliable information police party of police station Sumbal led by SHO PS-Sumbal arrested one person namely Bilal Ahmad Rather R/o Waskura Ganderbal during a Naka at Shadipora Sumbal and recovered 73 Bottles of psychotropic substance Codeine Phosphate from his possession.

In this connection Case FIR No.143 /2020 under relevant sections of NDPS act has been registered at Police Station Sumbal and further investigation taken up.

General Public is requested to come forward with any Information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood.

Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances will be dealt strictly as per law.
