PM lauds Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman for serving tea to suspended MPs

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today lauded Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh for serving tea to suspended MPs who are protesting in Parliament House premises against their suspension.

Mr. Modi, in a series of tweets said, for centuries, the great land of Bihar has been teaching the values of democracy and in line with that wonderful ethos, MP from Bihar and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman’s inspiring and statesman like conduct this morning will make every democracy lover proud.

He said, personally serving tea to those who attacked and insulted him a few days ago as well as those sitting on Dharna shows that Mr. Harivansh has been blessed with a humble mind and a big heart. Mr. Modi said, it shows his greatness.
