Pakistan violates ceasefire in two sectors of Poonch, India retaliates
Jammu, Sep 17 : Pakistan troops on Thursday violated the twin sectors of Poonch district along the Line of Control while Indian army effectively retaliated to the firing.
Defence Spokesperson here said that at about 0645 hours, Pakistan troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with Small Arms and shelling with Mortars along LoC in Balakote and Mendhar sectors in District Poonch.
"Indian Army retaliating befittingly," he added.
On Tuesday, one jawan attained martyrdom along the LoC in Sunderbani Sector of Rajouri.
