Kupwara woman dies of COVID-19
Srinagar: A woman from north Kashmir’s Kupwara district died due to COVID-19 on Monday, two days after she had tested positive for the virus.
Reports said an elderly woman from Puthwari Nowgam was admitted at Sub-district hospital Handwara a week back.
An official said the samples of the woman were collected for COVID-19 after she showed no improvement. “The test returned positive for COVID-19,” he said, adding that she was shifted to COVID-19 hospital Kupwara where she died today morning.
