Defunct hand pump at bus stand and other parts of city irks locals at Rajouri.

Rajouri: The people of Rajouri town alleged that the ground water department have neglected the pumps installed in the rajouri city and bus stand area which is located at ward no.9.

The peoples approched to Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Counsellor, Ward no.9  and in his leadership a strong protest was raised on the old bus stand.

Sanjay Sharma demanded immediate attention of the DDC and concerned deptt for the repair of all such pumps which remained defunt now and particularly the pump located at bus stand Rajouri.

He said that the passengers from all over the adjoining areas face difficulty of water while they visit to the city due to such defunct pumps.He hoped that necessary repair work would be started at an earliest.
