Out of 270 tests conducted, Six Positive cases reported at block Kandi.

#District Rajouri registered highest ever +Ve cases in a single day 

RAJOURI: A total of 270 tests were conducted in a single day in which six positive cases were reported at block Kandi. According to the official information all the six cases were shifted to their home locations in an ambulance for Home Isolation as all were Asymptomatic.One Covid-19 Positive case shifted to Rajouri near Khandli Bridge for Home isolation as he belongs to Rajouri and work on a chemist shop in Kotranka. 

"All the positive cases were from different locations of the block viz, Budhal, Phalni, Tergain, Badhal gali, Kotranka and Khandli Rajouri and were within the age group of 30s and 40s and they were provided Pulse Oxymeters along with immune boosting medicines and given mental health counselling", added Mr.Iqbal Malik, BMO, Kotranka. 

Similarly, due to the detection of 17 positive cases at Badi Darhal area of Dharal, sampling to remain ccontinue and all peoples of Thanamang and Badi Darhal to come forward and get tested.Concerned Surviliance team to line list firstly family members and primary contacts of positive cases."Darhal admin is requested to depute Revenue team/concerned patwaris with village wise voter lists of Thanamang and Badi Darhal. Sampling at DKG will also continue", added Mr.Sajjad Mirza, BMO, Dharal.

It is pertinent to mention here that district Rajouri has crossed all previous records in the single day Covid +Ve cases. A total of 87 cases reported +Ve on Saturday in which Travellers-4 & Others-83 (Rajouri-31, Darhal-19, Sunderbani-17, Koteranka-6, Kalakote-5, Nowshera-4 & Thanamandi-1). Also, 1773 samples both RT_PCR & RAT were collected today.
