Four-yr-old dies of COVID, family stages protest at Jammu hospital

Jammu, Sep 12: A four-year-old child on Saturday died of COVID-19 at Government Medical College and Hospital following which the family staged a protest blaming the authorities of negligence.

Police sources here said that a minor boy was tested positive for corona and was being treated at GMC Jammu.

"He died on Saturday morning," police said, adding that the family and relatives staged protest against the hospital authorities alleging negligence on their part.

Pertinent to mention here that for the last three days, oxygen supply has dropped in CCU and COVID Isolation ward due to leakage broke out in supply pipe, which is being repaired.
