#Market_Review || Sensex down over 300 pts

Mumbai, Sep 9: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday dropped by 385 pts at 37,980.69 in the opening session as selling pressure was witnessed in Metal, Telecom, Realty and Banking stocks amid weak global cues.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too fell by 92.25 pts to 11,225.10.

The sectoral indices include, Metal, IT, Oil and Gas and Bankex kept the market down in early trade.

The Sensex registered intraday high and low at 38,252.67 and 37,980.49 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intraday high and low at 11,281.15 and 11,207.50 respectively.
The Mid Cap eased by 1.46 pc and Small Cap by 1.71 pc.

In 30 scrips, 25 declined while 5 advanced.

The losers were ONGC by 4.16 pc to Rs 71.40, SBI by 3.58 pc to Rs 196.70, Bajaj Finserv by 2.50 pc to Rs 6075.10, ICICI Bank by 2.34 pc to Rs 367.10 and Axis Bank by 2.09 pc to Rs 434.95.

The gainers were Asian Paints by 1.01 pc to Rs 1978, Nestle India by 0.41 pc to Rs 16,201, Titan by 0.40 pc to Rs 1166.85 and Reliance Industries by 0.40 pc to Rs 2115.40.
