5 vehicles seized for illegal mining
REASI: Tightening noose over people involved in illegal mining, Reasi police seized five vehicles.
As per details, during intervening night of July30-31, 2020, a party from Police Station Reasi laid a Naka at Simbal Choa and seized two dumpers for illegally extracting sand from Dera Bhabbar Nallah.
The seizure was made by the Police party led by SI Pardeep Singh of Police Station Reasi under supervision of Insp Vijay Thakur SHO Police Station Reasi, Wasim Hamdani DySP (Hqrs) Reasi, Surjeet Bhagat Addl SP Reasi and overall supervision of Rashmi Wazir SSP Reasi.
Three tractors (JK02BA-0052, JK20A-8703 and JK20A6981) were also seized by police at Sulla Panassa.
