GDC Doongi celebrates "World Nature Conservation Day"

Organised an online Inter college essay writing/poster making event

Jammu: An online Inter-college essay writing and poster making competition was organized on the eve of World Nature Conservation here today.The day is observed to create awareness among the students to protect our natural resources for healthy environment.

Around 21 students from different colleges participated in the essay writing and poster making competition on the theme “Conserve Nature and Conserve Our Future”. In poster making competition, Mr.Anmol Sharma from GDC Bishnah secured first position whereas the second position was shared by Neha sharma of GDC Doongi and Tania choudhary from New National Public Higher Secondary School Nowshera and Ms.Rajni Sharma from GDC Nowshera secured third position.

In essay writing, Mr.Gagandeep Choudhary from GDC Nowshera bagged first position,Anjali Devi and Palk Tara from GDC Doongi secured second and third position respectively.The event was organized by Dr.Bilal Ahmed Beigh lecturer Enviromental science under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Shamim Ahmed Azad Principal of the college.The Principal congratulated all the students for their active participation.
