#COVID19 || India tally 14.77 lakh

NEW DELHI: India on Monday registered almost 45 thousand fresh Covid-19 cases, pushing its infections tally to 14.77 lakh, even as the death toll breached 33-thousand mark.
The total Covid-19 cases in the country now stand at 14,77,728 while the death toll stand at 33392, latest by Monday 9:30 pm.
According to the Union Health Ministry data released Monday morning, with a record single-day jump of 49,931 COVID-19 cases, India's caseload climbed to 14,35,453 on Monday, while recoveries surged to 9,17,567.
The country's death toll rose to 32,771 with 708 fatalities being recorded in a day, the data updated at 8 am showed. There are 4,85,114 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country, while 9,17,567 patients have recovered and one person has migrated.
However, a tally showed India's COVID-19 caseload at 14,77,728 and the death toll at 33392, an increase by 44955 and 623, respectively.
The tally has been compiled as per information provided by respective states and union territories latest by 9:30 pm. The tally put the total recoveries at 947703, an increase by 33098.
