Trader Association Khan Market S.K Bridge constituted

POONCH: A meeting of the traders/shopkeepers was held at Iqbal Chowk Khan market S.K Bridge on wednesday evening.More than 150 traders/shop keepers from khan market S.K Bridge and shopkeepers /traders across road connecting the christ school to S.K bridge attended the meeting in which a new body of TRADERS ASSOCIATION was formed.
Gurdeep Singh Saraf has been unanimously elected as the president of the association.Other Senior traders and businessmen Lala Manzoor,Maqsood Khan,Jagdev Singh,Mahinder singh, pritpal singh romi also attended the meeting.
During the meeting it was decided that the next general body meeting of the association will be held next week and chief advisor,Vice president and general patron will be chosen.
The president Gurdeep singh Saraf thanked DEPUTY COMMISSIONER POONCH for taking a historic decision in formation of new bus stand near S.K bridge.He said this will usher in a new era of development in poonch and not only it will reduce the traffic congestion in the city but also provide new job opportunities in the hard times of economic stagnation.It is pertinent to mention here that This zone has been developed as hot spot of development and economic growth.Gurdeep singh further emphasized that the association will strive to address the problems faced by the traders in this zone and project their demands on various government platforms.He thanked the central Government and RBI for the moratorium on Monthly installments .He said this has provided relief to the traders/Shopkeepers in the corona lock down. Traders discussed their problems regarding GST returns ,credit facility provided by Banks .
In the end all the traders thanked the administration for the formation of new bus stand and requested the administration to conduct camps for awaring the shopkeepers/traders about the new schemes of the government.
