Residents of Supwal protested against the administration for installation a mobile tower in the residential area

SAMBA: The residents of the village Supwal today staged strong protested against the administration over the issue of the Airtel Mobile Company's mobile tower setting up in Supwal area of district Samba.
According to the report, a large number of the residents of village Supwal including male, Female and Children gathered at village Supwal under the leadership of Parveen Choudhary Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Supwal Samba. They raised slogan and shouting against the district administration and Airtel mobile company. They alleged that the Airtel mobile company setting up a new mobile tower in their residential area but they are not agreeing to regard the installation of the said tower.
They also said that the mobile tower is being installed in the residential area, which was opposed by the people even when the first tower was started and the administration stopped the work of the tower, but now the mobile company People dies the work of putting towers on holiday. He said that if the local people do not want to install mobile towers, then why the tower is being installed. For which the local people protested against the administration and demanded from the administration that towers should not be erected in the said area, otherwise people will be forced to take to the streets.
While talking with news now correspondent Sarpanch Parveen Choudhary said that For last six months the said company employees continues installing the tower in their residential areas but the people of said locality are not agree. Few months ago they met with DC Samba regarding this issue and then DC Samba marked the application in favour of concerned BDO, after that BDO Samba told to Sarpanch to hold gram sabha in said village and then decided but the people not agree to installation of newly mobile tower and then the report submitted to BDO Samba. In this context BDO Samba take decision and clear wrote in the letter no any tower installed in said village.
He also said that when the new Police officer come in said Police post and then the employees of the said company approached them and started the work of the tower. He appealed to the governor Jammu and Kashmir, DIV Com Jammu and SSP Samba to look into the matter, if the people do not want the installation of the new mobile tower why the officer of the Airtel Company forcefully installed the mobile tower in said village.
