Stolen infant recovered, two suspects arrested

Handwara, July 10 : Police have recovered the new born baby who had been stolen from District Hospital Handwara here in North Kashmir.

Police sources told news agency that a new born baby of one Sabeena Begum Wife of Bilal Ahmed Lone, a resident of Natnussa was stolen at District hospital Handwara.

The new born baby was stolen when it was being shifted to another ward. The family immediately informed police that swung into action and recovered the stolen baby.

A police official said that two women in this regard have been detained and are being questioned. He said that new born baby has been handed over to family while a formal FIR has been registered.
