Pregnant woman transported on makeshift basket to hospital in Chattisgarh
Health care workers carried a pregnant woman on a makeshift basket, to take her to hospital for delivery in Kondagaon's Mohanbeda village in Chattisgarh.
As per reports, the ambulance could not reach her village due to unavailability of road, so they carried her to hospital in the basket. TR Kanwar, Chief Medical Health Officer (CMHO), Kondagaon said.
“The husband of lady had called up 102 Ambulance but it could not reach there. It is a remote area. Vehicles can't reach there due to unavailability of road. Delivery was done at district hospital. The mother and the child are safe.”
