#Market_Review || Sensex down over 300 pts
Mumbai, Jun 25: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday lost further by 343 pts to open at 34,525.39 after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected a sharp contraction of 4.5 per cent in India's GDP in FY21.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too slipped by 70 pts to 10,235.55.
The Sensex registered intraday high and low at 34,674.43 and 34,499.78 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intraday high and low at 10,259.25 and 10,194.50 pts respectively.
The sectoral indices like Bankex, IT, Finance, Industrials and Capital Goods kept the market low.
The mid-cap advanced by 0.04 pc and Small Cap rose by 0.42 pc.
In 30 scrips, 14 advanced and 16 declined.
The losers were Infosys by 2.21 pc to Rs 698.40, Axis Bank by 2.20 pc to Rs 415.05, HDFC Bank by 2.19 pc to Rs 1009.75, IndusInd Bank by 2.03 pc to Rs 472.15 and Bajaj Finance by 1.65 pc to Rs 2887.
The gainers were Bajaj Auto by 2.23 pc to Rs 2878.20, ITC by 1.62 pc to Rs 194.90.
Reliance industries by 1.01 pc to Rs 1744.80 and Nestle India by 16,810.85.
