Tehsildar Kishtwar distributes ration coupon under Atma Nirbhar Bharat workers Scheme

Conducts market checking in Kishtwar town, realizes fine of Rs. 5000 from 18 erring shopkeepers

KISHTWAR, MAY 24: In order to ensure the minimum subsistence to all the interstate migrants and needy families during lockdown 4.0 and on the direction of District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh Tara, Tehsildar Kishtwar Parmod Kumar today started distributing ration coupons to identified beneficiaries/ migrant workers under Atma Nirbhar Bharat Workers Coupon Scheme.
10 kg rice per soul and 2 kg Pulse per family for the month of May and June 2020 will be given to all the beneficiaries under the scheme.
The Tehsildar said that “Atma Nirbhar Bharat Workers Coupon Scheme is a scheme which has been started by the government of India and under which we have to distribute ration coupons to identified stranded migrants and needy ones who are without ration cards to get free food grains and pulses in district Kishtwar”.
Meanwhile, Tehsildar Kishtwar along with TSO Kishtwar Suresh Kumar & FSO Rajni Bhagat, Inspector Legal Metrology and Municipal committee & police party conducted market checking in Kishtwar town from District Court Complex to Dak Bunglow, Hidyal and Gudhali Chowk. During the inspection he realized fine of Rs 5000 from 18 erring shopkeepers.
