PTTI VIJAYPUR OBSERVED “ANTI-TERRORISM DAY”

Vijaypur: Police Technical Training Institute observed “Anti-TerrorismDay” today in a befitting manner after observing social distancing. On this occasion, a pledge was also taken by the Police personnel of the Institute to mark the occasion. While speaking on the occasion, Shri Rajinder Kumar Gupta, SSP, Principal PTTI Vijaypuren lightened the objective behind the observance of this day. He stated thatAnti-Terrorism Day is observed every year on 21stMay to wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence by highlighting the sufferings of common people and showing as to how it is prejudicial to the national interest.

Subsequently, two-minutes silence was also observed by staff of the Institute to mourn the demise of Syed Muhammad Aslam Gillani, father of Shri S.J.M Gillani, ADGP (Coordination), PHQ-J&K.

Among others, Shri Rajinder Singh Rahi, SP, Vice Principal PTTI Vijaypur, Shri Hafiz Ullah Sheikh, Dy.SP (R&D/Tech), Shri Shamsher Singh Sambyal, (Dy.SP Outdoor/Security), Shri Rakesh Sambyal (Sr.PO), Shri Prithipal Singh (Sr.PO), Shri Yash Paul Singh, Dy.SP. Inspr. Anil Sagar (RI), Inspr. Ravinder Singh, Inspr. Anil Kumar, Inspr. Bhopinder Singh, Inspr. Rattan Singh, Inspr. Manoj Kumar, Inspr. Renu Rattan were present on the occasion. However, in view of CIVID-19 pandemic, all precautionary measures such as participation of minimum strength,maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks, etc. were takenproperly.
