DDC Kishtwar reviews functioning of Govt offices in far off Tehsils, blocks

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 28: District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara today directed the district heads to ensure functioning of their respective departments in far flung areas of Marwah, Warwan, Dachan and Paddar areas.
Chairing a meeting of District and Sectoral officers, he directed the officers to notify monthly schedule of their visit to Marwah, Warwan and Paddar areas.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohd Hanief Malik; Joint Director planning, Mohd Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Amir Hussain; SDM Marwah, Dr Javid Iqbal Rather; District Treasury Officer, Irfan Majid; besides all district heads of line departments.
The DDC directed the District heads to ensure that all the officers/officials posted at Marwah,Warwan, Paddar and Dachan attend the office. He instructed the DTO to draw salaries of the employees only after getting the punctuality certificate from the concerned district officer and endorsed by DDC.
Earlier, threadbare discussions were held with regard to various developmental activities in the district.
The DDC instructed for notifying awareness calendars in consultation with various stakeholders so as to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the departments and implementation of schemes in the District.
Besides, he also reviewed the issues of BSNL Network at Marwah and Warwan areas, inclusion of left out farmers under PM–Kissan, resumption of work in PWD special Sub Division Marwah , public awareness about different state and centrally sponsored schemes.
