DDC Kishtwar reviews progress of PMDP, B2V-I works

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 25: District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh Tara today reviewed the progress of Prime Minister Development Package (PMDP) projects and Back to Village programme phase first (B2V-I) here at a meeting.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Mohd Hanief Malik; Joint Director Planning, Mohd Iqbal; ACD, Kishore Singh Katoch; ACR Dr. Amir Hussain; ALC Anoop Kumar and other District and Sectoral Officers.
The meeting reviewed the physical and financial progress on Construction of Additional 100 Bedded IPD Block at District Hospital, Construction of Multi-purpose sports hall, Government Degree College Chhatroo, Nursing Centre Kishtwar, construction of CHC Marwah,25 bedded SDH Atholi, Paddar, and the works of the PDD under PMDP.
Necessary directions were issued to the executing agencies regarding the completion of the work in time bound manner.
The physical and financial status of works taken up under the B2V-I was also reviewed and the time line was set for completion of these works under each sector.
Meanwhile, the DDC directed the line departments to pool the resources meant for awareness generation and maintain synergy in their working. He asked for framing a schedule for holding awareness camps cum awareness melas for the month of March 2020. “The funds for awareness already available with different departments shall be used on rotation for conducting such camps,” he directed and added that this will ensure providing awareness about all schemes at one central place and proper utilization of resource and discouraging the prevalent culture where departments work in isolation.
