Free dental check- up camp held for members of Ahata-e-Waqaar

JAMMU, FEBURUARY 25: A free dental check- up camp was held for members of Ahata-e-Waqaar, Roop Nagar- a day care and recreation centre for senior citizens.
Indira Gandhi Government Dental College Jammu deputed a team of Dental Doctors, headed by Assistant professor Department of Public Health and Dentistry, Dr Iqbal Singh for screening the members of the centre.
Over one hundred elderly persons were screened, checked and imparted oral health awareness at the camp. They were also made aware about the hazards of using tobacco products, including cigarette smoking.
Chairman of the Centre, Choudhary Pawan thanked the team of doctors and Principal of the Indira Gandhi Government Dental College for the noble act. He hoped that the institution will continue to provide similar services, whenever invited to the centre.
