Anti-encroachment drive in Jammu

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 20: To provide the sufficient space to the commuters, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu has ordered for launching an anti encroachment drive for smooth plying of vehicles and streamlining traffic movement in IInd phase w.e.f. 15-02-2020 to 28-02-2020 in the areas like Talab Tillo, Road, Narwal Area, Janipur Chowk Area, Bus Stand – B.C. Road, Gandhi Nagar Area, Gummat Area, Satwari area towards Jammu Airport, Railway Station Area, Jewel Area, Prem Nagar, Canal Road and Bakshi Nagar under the overall supervision of Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Jammu and the SDM concerned in close coordination with the departments like Police, JMC, PWD (R&B) and PDD for effective execution of the same.
The process of removal of encroachment is going on smoothly so far encroachment in Talab Tillo, Road, Narwal Area, Janipur Chowk Area, Bus Stand – B.C. Road, Gandhi Nagar Area, Gummat Area and Satwari area towards Jammu Airport has been removed
Strict warning has been issued to the habitual encroachers to refrain themselves from any type of encroachment to avoid any penal action.
