DDC inaugurates awareness camp regarding KCC, other social security schemes at Drabshalla

Distributes on spot KCC declaration forms among beneficiaries

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 19: In continuation to its ongoing drive of organizing awareness cum special financial inclusion outreach camps for saturation of PM Kissan beneficiaries with Kissan Credit Cards and other social security schemes of the agriculture and allied sectors in the district, District Administration Kishtwar today organized an awareness camp at Drabshalla in collaboration with the bankers.
The camp, held with the aim to achieve complete financial literacy besides enhancing the livelihood option for people of the district, was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara.
The camp witnessed participation of officers and Officials of Agriculture Department, Banks, Revenue Department, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, PRIs, Lumberdars, Village Guards, Anganwari Workers, ASHA Workers and farmers.
During the awareness camp, KCC self declaration forms, pamphlets and posters highlighting various schemes of Agriculture, Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department and other Agri-Allied sectors were distributed among the participants.
DDC, while speaking on the occasion, said that this month long awareness drive, which shall cover the entire area of the district, will be made a routine exercise and such camps will be organised by all the line departments in every nook and corner of the district.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar Dr.Amir Hussain besides other officials were present on the occasion.
