New Delhi, Feb 15: India rejected all references to Jammu and Kashmir made by Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked Turkey not to interfere in the internal affairs of the country.

In response to queries regarding references to Jammu & Kashmir by Turkish President and the Turkey-Pakistan Joint Declaration, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said: "India rejects all references to Jammu & Kashmir, which is an integral and inalienable part of India. We call upon the Turkish leadership to not interfere in India's internal affairs and develop proper understanding of the facts, including the grave threat posed by terrorism emanating from Pakistan to India and the region."
The Turkish President on Friday vowed that Ankara will support Pakistan's stand on the Kashmir issue 'as it is a matter of concern to both the countries.'

Mr Erdogan made the remarks during his visit to Pakistan.
